Thank you for opening your heart to a rescue animal. Our home check is simple but essential step to ensure a safe, loving, and lasting match. It helps us get to know you better and make sure your home is the right fit for the pet you are welcoming in your life.

The process is quick and straightforward - it’s not about perfection, but about preparation. We’re here to support you every step of the way, answer any questions, and offer guidance if needed. Our goal is to set you and your future pet up for a happy, stress-free start together. 

1. Submit Photos

Please send us clear photos of the main downstairs living areas and your garden/ outdoor space. This helps us get a sense of your home environment and ensure it’s safe and suitable for your future pet. 

2. Answer a Few Questions

We’ll ask a few simple questions about your lifestyle, experience with animals, and the type of pet you are looking to adopt. This helps us  make the best possible match. 

3. Follow-Up Chat (If Needed)

In some cases, we may reach out for a quick call or video chat to go over your application and clarify any details. 

4. Feedback & Approval

Once everything is reviewed, we’ll be in touch with feedback. If all looks good, we’ll move forward with the next steps in the adoption process. 

Our goal is to give each rescued animal their best chance at a forever home. Home checks help us match pets with families where they will thrive - emotionally, physically, and safely.

No need to deep-clean or worry about  anything,  we just want to see your real home. If something isn’t perfect, that’s okay! We’re happy to offer suggestions and work with you.
