🌟 Animal Care Assistants Needed – Become a PSR Volunteer! 🌟
- Do you have a passion for cats and animal welfare?
We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable and caring people to join our team as Animal Care Assistants.
💙 About the role:
Our volunteers help ensure PSR cats are happy, healthy, and cared for while they wait for their forever homes. Many cats find the cattery environment stressful, so your care, love, and attention make all the difference.
✨ Duties include:
- Cleaning pens & litter trays 🧽
- Feeding & watering bowls 🍽️
- Grooming, stroking & playing 🐾
- Spending time with nervous or shy cats to help them build confidence
- Keeping units inside & out clean and tidy
- Reporting observations or concerns
- Optional: Taking photos to help with social media 📸
💪 What we’re looking for:
✔️ Enthusiastic & pro-active
✔️ Reliable & committed
✔️ Team player who can also work independently
✔️ Good communication skills
✔️ Willingness to follow instructions & report after shifts
🕒 Time commitment:
We ask for regular commitment (weekly, monthly, or more – flexible to your availability).
✅ You may need to swap/cover if you can’t make your shift.
✅ Please note spaces may be limited at certain times – a waiting list may apply.

🧹 Duties include:
- Mopping floors
- Washing up
- Refilling supplies
- Keeping units & areas tidy
⏰ Just 1 hour per week (minimum)

We’re currently looking for kind-hearted foster families to open their homes to rescued cats and kittens in need of temporary love and care 💕
We rehome all over the West Midlands, so provided you can get to and from HQ you can still help! 🙏
Whether you're a seasoned foster or trying it for the first time, you can make a life-changing difference for a cat waiting for their forever home. We provide food, supplies, and veterinary care — you provide the love! 🏡🐱
